Coqui is open open-source text-to-speech project started by Mozilla’s team (the same team that developed the Firefox browser). This project recently shut down however its code is available on Git Hub. You can run code on the computer to generate voiceover locally
Coqui also lets you create voice clones. Coqui works in 13 languages such as english, Spanish, french etc.
Coqui can clone voice with 3 seconds of audio however clonned voice would sound if you provide more data.
The Coqui local version does not come with a lot of pre-made voices like the voices available in Eleven Labs.
However, you can upload anyone’s and create a voice clone, and generate unlimited voices.
Coqui’s code is available on GitHub however it does not have GUI. You should have good programming experience to run locally.
